In this article, you'll learn how to navigate Personal AI effectively and gain a comprehensive overview of Personal AI's interface.
Sidebar - access your AI personas, messages, channels, and AI tools.
Top bar - search and access help
AI details pane - displays a list of your AI personas or settings for your AI persona
Main Pane - displays insights on memories and messages, chat history for DMs, channels and chats with your AI personas
Here's a breakdown of each area:
My AI - access the AI personas in your workspace.
Messages - access your DMs and channels and create new ones
AI Tools - access a suite of LLMs like ChatGPT or Claude and custom PLMs
From the top bar, you can collapse the sidebar and AI details pane, run a global search of your AIs memories and messages, and access help resources
When you select My AI, the details pane will display a list of your AI personas. Simply navigate to the desired persona or click on the plus ➕ icon to create a new persona.
When you select Messages, the details pane will display a list of your channels and DMs. Simply navigate to the desired channel or DM or click on the pencil icon to create a new message or channel.
Click on the three dot icon to manage your DMs and channels. From here you can set channel details, manage members, favorite DMs or channels, leave or delete a channel.
When you select a persona, message, or channel from the AI details pane, you'll see the chat history in the main pane. This is also where you'll see search results, document editor and upload tools.
