Persona settings allow you to customize the look, feel, and personality of your AI persona, creating a personalized AI experience.
1. AI Photo
To customize your AIβs profile picture to make it visually distinctive, click on the photo icon to upload or change the AI's image.
2. Name
Give your AI a unique name by entering a name that represents the persona or function of the AI.
3. Identity
To define who the AI is portraying (e.g., yourself, a professional role, etc.), choose an identity from the drop-down menu that best represents your AI persona.
If you would like to set a custom directive that dictates how your AI will respond, choose 'Custom' in the drop-down menu and outline details such as the format of the output, what topics to direct the conversation, and what topics to actively avoid.

Once Custom directive is selected, you will also see an option to add custom Channel Directives to be used in channels you own. Channel Directives can be used to set specific instructions and guidelines to tailor the format, behavior, personality, and conversational style of your AI within different channels.

4. Traits
Set your AI's behavior and personality by select up to three traits from the drop-down menu. Choose from traits like 'Friendly,' 'Natural,' or 'Consistent' to tailor your AI's responses.
These traits are what give your AI its personality. When choosing these traits, consider the personality that best fits the AI you are trying to build.
5. Communication Style
Define how your AI interacts with users by selecting up to three communication styles (e.g., 'Chatty,' 'Empathetic,' 'Curious') to influence how the AI responds in conversations.
This setting is extremely important in choosing how you want your AI to respond to the messages/prompts you give it. Here you can choose up to 3 communication styles that will make your AI respond in these ways. It is important to consider what your are using your AI for when choosing these styles. For example, if you are using your AI for informative recall and summarizing information, choose "Formal" and "Concise". If you are using your AI for messaging with others, depending on your audience, choose "Empathetic" or "Informal".
Once youβve customized your persona, click Save to apply changes.
