The One Drive integration allows you to sync folders and upload individual files from your One Drive to your AI's memory.

How to start

1. Connect to Your OneDrive Account

To get to the One Drive Integration screen, click on your Persona -> Memory Integration -> OneDrive.

  • Open the Personal AI application and navigate to the Integrations page

  • Look for the OneDrive integration option

  • Click on "Connect" to initiate the connection process

  • You will be redirected to sign in to your Microsoft account

  • Grant the necessary permissions for Personal AI to access your OneDrive

How to Upload

2. Select Files and Folders

  • Once connected, you'll see a file picker interface

  • Browse through your OneDrive contents

  • Select the files and folders you want to upload to Personal AI

  • You can select multiple items, and folders.

  • After selection, click "Upload" or a similar button to start the process

  • A progress indicator will show the status of your upload

  • Wait for the upload to complete - this may take some time depending on the volume of data

3. How to Manage

3.1 Review the uploaded folders

  • Navigate to the Files View in the OneDrive integrationโ โ 

  • Click on the "Synced Folders" tab

  • Review the uploaded labels

3.2 Assign to Persona

  • Navigate to the Files View in the OneDrive integrationโ โ 

  • Click on the "More" button in the end of the card

  • Select the "Assign to Personas" optionโ โ 

  • A dropdown menu will appear, click โ€œpersonasโ€ you want to sync

  • Support multiple select

3.2 Edit file

  • Navigate to the Files View in the OneDrive integrationโ โ 

  • Click on Edit button or click the file card

  • The page will change to file editor

3.3 Delete file

  • Navigate to the Files View in the Outlook integrationโ โ 

  • Click on the "More" button to open the menuโ โ 

  • Select the "Delete" optionโ โ 

  • A confirmation popup will appear; click "Confirm" to delete the emailโ 

4. OneDrive Account

4.1 Add a New Account

  • Click email account on the top

  • Click "Connect to a new account" on the bottom

  • You will be redirected to sign in to your Microsoft account

  • Grant the necessary permissions for Personal AI to access your OneDrive

4.2 Switch the Account

  • Click the account you want to switch

  • The account will replace to the new selected account

4.3 Switch the Account

  • Click the garbage can icon beside the email account

  • A confirmation popup will appear; click "Delete" to delete the account

5. Sync

5.1 Manually Sync

  • Enter Synced Labels

  • Click the 3-dots button (More button) to open the menu

  • Select โ€œManually Sync Labelโ€

5.2 Auto Sync

By default, Personal AI automatically syncs your uploaded OneDrive folders every 24 hours

6. Troubleshooting

  • If you encounter connection issues, look for a "Reconnect" button near your email account

  • If you see a warning icon near your email account, it indicates an expired background account. Click the email to open the menu and reconnect.

  • For persistent problems, you may need to disconnect and reconnect your account
